Tresurehunt 2022 – Goldfinger event

This year marks the exciting return of the S&CA’s flagship treasure hunt event, Goldfingered, resuming after a two-year hiatus. The event, which promises to be as brilliant and flamboyant as the previously acclaimed Treasure Vision, is all set to create waves of excitement.

The helm of Goldfingered this year is taken by the skipper of Eve, leading an enthusiastic organizing committee. This team is dedicated to crafting an event that lives up to the high expectations set by its predecessors.

The event format retains the essence of its much-loved structure, featuring a blend of aquatic and terrestrial fun-filled activities. These activities, designed to add a thrill to the day, will be unveiled to the participating skippers on the 11th of June through WhatsApp Group messages. The day’s adventures will culminate in a spy-themed fancy dress gala dinner, aptly titled ‘Casino Royale’. The setting for all these exciting activities will be the scenic locales around central Solent, offering a perfect backdrop for adventure and camaraderie.

This year’s event is not just about the treasure hunt; it’s an avenue for showcasing creativity and nautical prowess. Each participating team, comprising a vessel and its crew, will face a series of creative and nautical challenges. The day’s events are designed to test skills, promote teamwork, and most importantly, provide an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

The gala dinner will not only serve as a grand conclusion to the day’s activities but will also be the stage for recognizing the teams’ efforts. Prizes await those teams that demonstrate exceptional skill and ingenuity throughout the day. Additionally, a special accolade is reserved for the individual who steals the show with the most innovative spy-themed outfit.

As we eagerly anticipate this year’s Goldfingered event, we look forward to a day filled with challenges, laughter, and memorable moments. It’s an opportunity for participants to unleash their adventurous spirit and enjoy the essence of sailing and camaraderie.
