South Coast – Coronation Bank Holiday

6 May 2023 – 8 May 2023 @ Island Harbour 

For the King’s coronation weekend we have planned a rally to one of our favourite spots, Island Harbour on the Isle of Wight, famous holiday resort of Queen Victoria.  The rally is booked for two nights (Saturday and Sunday nights). 

We will need to arrive for early lunchtime on the Saturday in order to lock in to the marina and to partake in the activities.

This event runs over several nights in port.  Participants can register and join us for all or parts of the event.

THE PLAN

Saturday 6th May

Home Ports to Island Harbour in time for the big picnic lunch on boats (please bring your own catering).   We will try and get the boats moored together so that we can enjoy our picnics together. 

Coronation themed fun and frolics in Island Harbour and surrounding area in the afternoon.  Dress appropriately for the occasion.

We have reserved space in the BBQ area for the evening.  Barbecues and charcoal will be available. 

Sunday 7th May

Morning run anyone?

An afternoon walk to Newport and a pint in the Barge Man’s Rest.

Please note currently the Breeze restaurant is closed so you will need to make your own arrangements should you wish to eat out.

Monday 8th May

Island Harbour to home ports.
