Welcome to the Sailing & Cruising Association (S&CA), the premier club for LGBT+ sailors and their friends and family in the UK. At the home of gay sailing in the UK, we offer a diverse and vibrant community for all sailing enthusiasts.
Membership Benefits
Firstly, joining the S&CA means becoming part of a community that shares your passion for sailing and being on the water. Our annual membership includes several benefits:
- You will enjoy free attendance at our on water and land based events.
- You’ll have access to our exclusive Sail & Learn programs.
- There are Crew Match opportunities for novice or experienced sailors to join our rally events.
- Skippers also receive assistance with charter organisation and crew gathering.
- Social connections are fostered via our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
- As a member, you will receive ourNewsBuoy magazine, the club’s official journal, sharing stories and memories.
- Last but not least, exclusive S&CA merchandise is available for purchase.
Membership Cost
We are inclusive and accessible so as a virtual, volunteer-runorganisation, the S&CA operates with minimal costs. Consequently, this allows us to offer affordable membership options:
- Individual Membership is £20 per year
- Joint Membership is £30 per year, (or members sharing the same home address.)
Joining S&CA
You will be welcomed into the club from the moment you join.
Membership renewal is annual, easy, automatic and worry free.
Each individual member has one vote at the annual general meeting.
