Yacht Kina Balu

We usually just sail together, along with our cockapoo Cooper, but we are always happy to host one or two club members on our boat, Kina Balu, for club events.

Kina Balu is a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 based in Port Solent, Portsmouth Harbour.  We have owned Kina Balu for over 5 years, so she is now our second home on the water.  We offer the forward peak cabin to our guests and it has plenty of space for one or a couple.

For us, sailing is about having an enjoyable day on the water and evening at anchor or in a marina, rather than racing.  Our experience is mainly practical, although we do have ICC and RYA Day Skipper Theory.

Generally, we meet on board in Port Solent on the evening prior to the event, but late joiners can come on the first morning if they can arrive reasonably early. On the departure day we try to be moored up and ashore by 4pm, but that is not always possible for the further distant rally destinations.
