Andromeda

I have been sailing since I was a small child on boats owned by my grandfather and father. My first boat was a Mirror dinghy, later upgraded to a Vivacity 24, a Westerly Discus and now a Moody 35. I have RYA qualifications of Dayskipper Theory and International Certificate of Competence. I try to sail as often as possible during the season, attending as many club events as other commitments allow.

My boat ‘Andromeda’ is a bilge keel Moody 35 based in Portsmouth Harbour. Novice or experienced members and their guests are welcome, and I am usually looking for up to 4 crew for club events.

Generally we meet on board in Gosport on the evening prior to the event, but late joiners can come on the first morning if they can arrive reasonably early. On the departure day I try to be moored up and ashore by 5pm, but that is not always possible for the further distant rally destinations.
