This year's visit to the stunning Buckler's Hard marina is a standard weekend event with a tour of the attractions at Buckler's Hard Village and an evening BBQ at the boatyard.
Please note the booking requirements at Buckler's Hard below
=======================================
THE PLAN
Saturday 24th September
Home ports to Buckler's Hard, where we have reserved berths for up to 15 boats. It will be beneficial to aim to arrive as early as possible as the tide is falling in the afternoon. Early arrival also means that we will have time for a tour of Buckler's Hard Village including: Visit to Maritime Museum, Shipwright's Cottage, Apple Orchard and St Mary's Chapel.
Tickets for the Maritime Museum are best purchased individually in advance, but may also be available online on the day.
In the evening, the marina BBQ area and Marquee has been reserved for our private use.
Sunday 25th September
Head for home ports
BERTHIG ARRANGEMENTS FOR SKIPPERS
Skippers need to call the Beaulieu River Harbour office in advance to book pay for their berthing and secure the booking at least 2 weeks in advance (the website suggests at least 7 days, but the club needs to confirm details of confirmed bookings with them two weeks before). Failure to book ahead in sufficient time could mean that there is no availability. Please ask to be booked in under the Sailing and Cruising Association rally.
Beaulieu River Harbour Office Tel 01590 616200
HW Portsmouth 11:40 Saturday and 12:12 Sunday
Check the Beaulieu River website for the local tide times and depths at river estuary.
