By popular demand, this event has become a fixed occurrence within the events calendar for a number of years, it is a beach barbecue get together, where members either sail or opt for the Wightlink ferry service to transport them to this beautiful coastal hotspot. It is consistently well attended, giving the opportunity for new and existing members to meet and have an evening of fun on the beach as the sun sets over the Solent. Last year was topped off with the braver members diving into the sea whilst the more fragile, stayed ashore and built a roaring bonfire.
Reservations have been made at Yarmouth Marina for S&CA vessels to arrive and tie up overnight for the Saturday 14th
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
All attending need to register, so we know who to expect. As part of registration, skippers will need to advise us of their boat details, so we can ensure a marina berth is reserved for you.
Skippers seeking crew or crew seeking berths are to firstly visit the club ‘crew match’ Facebook page.
Skippers: upon arrival, you will be greeted by the berthing Master, who will guide you to your berth. You must state you are part of the S&CA/Sailing&Cruising Association Rally.
