Friday 17th July Sail/Motor to East Cowes Marina or Ryde Harbour. Book your own berth at one of these Marinas. Saturday 18th July 10.30am - Isle of Wight Pride and PartyJoin us to celebrate 50yrs since Gay Liberation. The amazing atmosphere and welcome from the crowd as we parade through Ryde Town is not to be missed. Enjoy the party as Ryde turns LGBT+ with dedicated bars and IW Pride Party Arena. Dress code for Pride: Navy shorts and deck shoes or trainers.Free t-shirts and rainbow striped hats will be provided. Pride registration required to access all areas with link above.
Sunday 19th July - Vintage Bus Tour and Steam Train ride9am from East Cowes Marina: board ‘The Old Girl’, a 1950s vintage bus, for a tour to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway in Havenstreet. A trip along the award-winning railway line, seated in beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages, to enjoy a unique view of the island's unspoilt landscapes. Lunch in the cafe or take your own picnic and visit the museum. The ‘Old Girl’ will take you back to the Marina for early afternoon departures to home ports. £25 includes bus and train fare.
Optional Extra: Sunday evening 19th July 4.30-8.30pmLast Wight of the Proms - Northwood House, Cowes The ‘Last Wight of the Proms' has been a really popular event for S&CA. However, it is on the Sunday night and would mean an evening/night sail or people taking the Monday off work to get home. For those who want to stay, I’d be delighted to organise tickets for this flag waving event. Tickets will be £25 for the concert and a minibus or coach will be ordered for a small extra cost.
