Join Michael for a West Coast Winter Warmer in the historic maritime city of Bristol!
Michael has arranged tapas lunch on board the floating restaurant Under the Stars in the heart of Bristol. After lunch we board a private ferry at a nearby pier to cross the iconic floating harbour, arriving at SS Great Britain where a guide will show our group around Isambard Kingdom Brunel's magnificent ship.
The event is not just for locals, the express from Paddington around 10 am should get London dwellers to Bristol Temple Meads in good time for lunch, Bristol is equally accessible for those wishing to trundle up from the south coast via Salisbury, down from the north via Birmingham, or South Wales! There's the option to travel home on Saturday evening, or why not make a weekend of it and book a hotel whilst prices are low.
For those staying for the weekend, we'll aim for drinks in Old Market (Bristol's gay village), and there'll be plenty of time to explore Bristol on Sunday... there's the option of returning to the SS Great Britain for a self guided tour (small supplement to Saturday's ticket), or arranging more touristy excursions once we know how many people will be around on Sunday.
